The Buchi R-205 Rotavapor System is considered to be the most desired high-end rotary evaporator on the market and is known for its versatility and reliability. The R-205 features a rotation range of 20 to 280 rpm, an automatic height adjustment switch, and an average power consumption of 120 watts. You can process samples from 50 mL to 3 L with this system. The B-490 heating bath features an LCD display an adjustable temperature range from 20°C to 180°C, and a temperature accuracy of ±1°C. Heating bath is aluminum-lined for temperature uniformity and has a PTFE corrosion-resistant coating.

The R-205 is capable of reaching low vacuum levels in minutes. The V-500 allows for a final vacuum of less than 15 mbar and pumping volume of 1.6 meters cubed per hour. Modular construction allows for ultimate versatility, making it possible to configure units with a variety different glassware assembly.
