Sound level meter features three-decibel ranges for greater precision: low (30–80dB), medium (50–100dB), and high (80–130dB).

The meter provides weightings for both A (frequencies for 500 to 10kHz) and C (frequencies from 30 to 10kHz) to meet IEC 651 Type-2 standards.
