The ELx405 BioTek Plate Washer is designed and manufactured by a leader in plate technology. The ELX405 from Bio-Tek is built to wash 96 well plates, with a dual-action manifold with 96 dispensing and aspirating tubes. These manifolds move independently of each other on the vertical axis. In addition, the ELx405 has built-in overflow washing and overflow protection. The ELx405 washer plate works with standard microplates and is a great solution for labs looking for solid bottom microplate washing.

This plate washer has programmable shaking, for up to 60 minutes, and can be set at slow, medium, fast or varied. There’s also a programmable soak function. It’s recommended by BioTek that you prime, clean, sonication, and then re-prime with rinse cycle each time so the ELx405 is ready to go for the next wash. BioStack BioRobot compatibility makes this a great addition to any high-throughput (HTS) laboratories. The Elx405 has a built-in over-flow sensor for precision filling of microplates. Additionally, the instrument comes equipped with prime, sonicate tubes and cleaning protocols built right into the control panel.
