Model ED 23 | Drying and heating chambers with gravity convection. BINDER ovens provide fast uniform drying for drying and sterilization applications. The Advanced Preheating Technology provides temperature accuracy of 1°C with a wide temperature range 5° above ambient to 300 °C. With the natural convection and high rate of air exchange, thermal process run with increased efficiency. With inner chamber constructed of stainless steel with rounded edges and internally welded seams they are easy to clean. The completely tempered interior prevents condensation and ensures moisture deposits will not impair drying results. These ovens feature unique APT Line (Advanced Preheating Technology) ensuring temperature uniformity throughout the unit as well as minimum fluctuation for heating, drying, and sterilizing processes. The ovens provide reliable, reproducible, quick task results.

Natural convection occurs through a 50mm (2") diameter exhaust duct with an adjustable ventilation slide for moisture control. A preheating chamber allows all connecting tubes to the inner chamber to be exposed to the heating process, reducing the risk of condensation in the inner chamber. High-quality insulation reduces heat dissipation, reducing the need for additional air conditioning in the lab. The electronic PID controller timer can be set for up to 99 hours 59 minutes or continuous operation. The ovens feature an LED display for time and temperature, degree-accurate temperature adjustment, digital timer, and one ramp function. Rapid heat-up time secures fast and precise controlling, while the short recovery time after door opening decreases temperature fluctuation. The low external housing temperature of 50°C maximum (even at working temperatures of 300°C) means that burns are avoided.
Benefits
  • Uniform drying conditions thanks to APT.line technology
  • Identical test conditions throughout the chamber interior independent of sample size and quantity
  • Outstanding thermal insulation saves operation costs
