 Seven Glycerin/ Water Mixing: Background information a percentage of 66.7% of glycerin in water is known to yield a solution that has the coldest freezing point of about -47C .  The density of glycerin is 1264 kg/m3 and water density is 998.6 kg/m3 to achieve the mass ratio of 66.7% of glycerin, the volume ratio between glycerin and water is 0.632 for example, fill the glycerin to 2,500ml, then add 1580ml of water the glycerin to have a total of 4080ml of liquid. Add 20 drops of food grade blue coloring per 4080ml glycerin/ water solution to allow the liquid to be seen through once the sensor is added. Use this solution for all refrigeration and -40 C, and warmer house- built freezers.
