The Vaisala DMT-series transmitters are designed for demanding industrial applications with dry conditions. Typical applications include compressed air drying and metal treatment. It offers reliable, accurate measurements with excellent long-term stability in dew points down to -60 degC (-58 degF). The DRYCAP sensor is immune to particulate contamination, water condensation, oil vapor and most chemicals. Since the sensor withstands condensation it offers unmatched performance in low dew point applications that experience water spikes in the process. Model 37804-53 features a graphic/numeric display and an easy-to-use, menu-based user interface. Both models having datalogging capability. One year of dew point and temperature data is automatically stored in the microprocessor and can be viewed locally on the display (37804-53), or downloaded to a PC to study historical trends. The unique auto-calibration function, patented by Vaisala, is a calibration and adjustment that the transmitter performs by itself while the measuring process is running. If the measurement accuracy is not confirmed, corrections are made automatically to the calibration curve.

The HF55 transmitter is compatible with HygroClip2 probes with incorporated AirChip3000 technology. The HC2 (HygroClip2) probe achieves an unparalleled degree of accuracy that has never been seen before. With the combination of advances in sensor technology and integration, the HygroFlex HF52, HF53, HF54, HF55 and HF56 transmitters combined with a HC2-S probe provide superb precision and state-of-the-art functionality.
