Teledyne Isco Optical Unit Type 11

***Unit is preowned with slight wear from normal use. Type 11 optical unit was tested for power only. Bulb lights up. Unit does not include flow cells. See photos for details***

Slip-in flow cells can be changed in seconds. Flat, parallel, removable quartz windows avoid nonlinear response common with cells made of round tubing.

Features

  • Preparative cells – available with 1, 2, or 5 mm pathlengths - are recommended for all low pressure aqueous LC. Connectors fit 1/16 and 1/8 inch OD plastic or steel tubing.
  • Stainless steel cells are compatible with all organic solvents, and provide added temperature stability for reduced thermal drift. Supplied with PEEK fittings and available with pathlengths of 0.1 and 0.5 mm, these cells are specifically recommended for Flash Chromatography.
  • The high flow rate cell with 5 mm pathlength is excellent for large-scale production LC, and similar applications. This cell has compression fittings for 1/4 and 3/8 inch OD tubing.
  • Density gradient cells adapt the UA-6 to centrifuge tube fractionators that use a dense fluid to displace the gradient upward through the cell. Cells include a gasket set for most common centrifuge tubes.
