The OAS-3300TXRS Open Autosampler is an XYZ robotic system offering high flexibility and functionality. The autosampler provides straightforward automation and sample handling in analytical UHPLC (ultra-high performance liquid chromatography) and mass spectrometry applications, especially as part of the UltiMate 3000 system. However, the instrument can also be used with other HPLC systems, if adequate control inputs and outputs are available.
The autosampler is controlled by the Chromeleon Chromatography Management System.

Being part of the UltiMate 3000 system, the autosampler can also be operated with other data systems, such as

  • Analyst® , Compass™/ HyStar™, or Xcalibur™ To do so, installation of the DCMSLink (Dionex Chromatography Mass Spectrometry
    Link) software is required in addition to the installation of the data system.
  • Empower™
    To do so, installation of the Dionex Instrument Integration software is required in
    addition to the installation of the data system.

 

Operate at temperatures up to 110°C with no compromise in precision or accuracy. The Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate™ TCC-3000RS Rapid Separation Thermostatted Column Compartment enables the use of high column temperatures for ultrafast and conventional liquid chromatography (LC) applications to reduce system backpressures and run times. Dispersion-reduced precolumn heating and postcolumn cooling technology ensures optimal separation, run time, and detection under challenging conditions. These low-volume cooling and heating components can be easily exchanged to optimally match column flow and mobile phase requirements.

 

The TCC-3000RS Rapid Separation Thermostatted Column Compartment allows automated method development and column scouting to optimize column selection and other parameters. For existing methods, accurate and precise control of temperature from 5–110°C ensures consistent retention times, even as the ambient temperature changes. It is easily field-upgraded with up to two integrated column switching valves, providing access to advanced column switching techniques and two-dimensional LC (2D-LC) to increase productivity and performance. The high temperature range of this compartment expands the options for future methods.

For the highest degree of flexibility with solvent proportioning in UHPLC or conventional LC, the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate™ LPG-3400RS Rapid Separation Quaternary Pump supports ternary and quaternary gradients over an industry-leading flow-pressure footprint. It supports the use of up to four solvents at up to 15,000 psi (100 MPa) and a recommended flow rate range from 200µL to 8.0mL/min. with excellent flow stability. This pump adapts easily to multiple fast routine applications or method development in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage and environmental industries.

Recommended Use

The LPG-3400RS provides the highest degree of flexibility in solvent proportioning for UHPLC applications. This pump is recommended for a wide range of research and routine applications, and for method development. For higher-pressure separation needs, choose the LPG-3400XRS pump. For routine applications requiring up to 62 MPa (9,000 psi, 620 bar), choose the LPG-3400SD pump.

Simple Method Transfer

UltiMate 3000 Standard (SD) and RS pumps and system configurations provide similar gradient delay and extra-column volumes. This simplifies the method transfer between method development labs commonly using UHPLC pumps and QC and production labs with their standard LC pump configurations.
