Versatile and Ergonomic
The tool has multiple edges with design features that facilitate the separation of caps from tubes, microplates from thermal cycles, tubes from thermal cyclers, and tubes from microplates. One edge contains a U-shaped notch to open tube caps. One edge has a ridged tongue to remove a strip of capped tubes from a microplate. Two edges have prongs to remove microplates from thermal cycles. Finally, two hook protrusions can insert into the short side of a microplate and lift it from a sample block.
