The Matrix Impact2 Multichannel Electronic Pipette allows you to utilize the power of electronic pipetting in microplate format. In addition to its ergonomic design, the Matrix Impact2 Multichannel Electronic Pipette features step-based programming that allows you to perform pipetting routines that would either be cumbersome or even impossible using a manual pipette. What would take many motions of the thumb and manual adjustment of a volume knob on a traditional manual pipette can now be accomplished with the light touch of a trigger or button on the Matrix Impact2 Multichannel Electronic Pipette.
The lightweight, ergonomic design increases comfort and reduces the risk of repetitive strain injury (RSI). The trigger-based operation and tip ejection eliminate the need for repeated thumb use, reducing strain when ejecting tips. Step-based programming makes it logical, intuitive and easy to create programs. The combinations of features on the Matrix Impact2 Multichannel Electronic Pipette enables you to perform all the tasks you might do with a manual pipette – only faster and with less effort – as well as functions such as serial dilutions across a microplate.
Onboard memory saves six programs (up to 40 steps each) allowing you to spend more time pipetting and less time programming. Advanced battery technology allows days of work between charges, with no memory effect.
Stepper motor technology and error correction software ensure accurate and precise pipetting, even when performing incremental dispensing or when operating at the top or bottom of a pipette’s volume range. The pipette can be used while plugged in, resulting in no downtime during recharging.
