Their unsurpassed flatness ensures maximum heat transfer, and the reflective bright white color enhances visibility. A rugged cast-aluminum body provides stability and durability, and a power indicator light is illuminated whenever power is applied to the control. The Thermolyne Cimarec 2 Hotplate Stirrer Model SP46925 is a general purpose heating and stirring device for laboratory procedures requiring temperatures from 150°C to 538°C and stirring capability from 100 to 1000 rpm. The gross weight of items placed on top of the hotplate should not exceed 25 lbs (11.4 kg).
