The Thermo Scientific NanoDrop 2000 Spectrophotometers is a full-spectrum spectrophotometer that measures up to 2 Ul samples with high accuracy and reproducibility. This system offers the convenience of the Nanodrop patented sample retention system. This sample retention system employs surface tension to hold the sample in place between two optical fibers. This enables the measurement of very highly concentrated samples without the need for dilutions. Using this technology combined with a wavelength range of 190 to 840 nm, the Nanodrop 2000 has the ability to measure sample concentration up to 200 times more concentrated than samples measured using a standard cuvette system.
