Satorius Sartocheck 3 plus Filter Integrity Tester

The Sartocheck 3 plus by Sartorius is a convenient instrument designed to provide accurate testing of membrane filter systems. With operations controlled by a microprocessor, the user is given the ability to program a variety of protocols for executing filter systems testing. Once programmed, the instrument automates all protocols saved to the processor. Up to 60 programs can be stored at once and with a memory card, the number can be increased all the way to 240. All tests are designed to prove the integrity of membrane filter systems so that the use of defective cartridges can be avoided. Reliable and accurate measurements in this area make the instrument well suited for applications in biochemistry and pharmaceutical production environments.

A comprehensive validation guide provides the operator with a wide range of testing protocol to validate filtration systems. Possible tests include a list of 6 common assessments for upstream integrity, including: Diffusion test, Bubble Point test, Diffusion and Bubble Point test, Water Intrusion test, Water Flow test, Pressure Drop test, and Multipoint Diffusion test. Data is not stored within the system and is instead provided in a complete paper report to comply with all cGMP requirements. Included in these reports are summaries of the testing parameters, such as test pressure and time, results from the test including net volume tested, pressure drop, and evaluation, filter cartridges used, and product tested. Between tests, a complete guide to cleaning the system is provided with on-screen instructions. Any cleaning reagent can be used, as the handling components are composed of stainless steel.
