This heat block is a versatile addition to your lab, with modular, aluminum blocks that heat quickly and maintain a uniform heat up to 150°C (302°F). This dry heat block features upfront, knob controls for low and high temperatures. The low range of the VWR Standard Heatblock covers ambient to 100°C (212°F) and the high range covers from 75° to 150°C (167 to 302°F). This heat block is an ideal choice for incubation and activation of cultures, boiling and melting points, immunoassays, enzyme reactions, blood urea nitrogen determinations, and many other applications.
