The Multidrop 384 is an automated microplate dispenser designed for high-throughput screening and microvolume dispensing into 384 and 96-well plates. It can dispense up to eight different reagents with high accuracy, precision and speed. It fills a 384-well plate with 20 µl/well in 20 seconds or a 96-well plate in 5 seconds. With a volume range of 5 100 µl for 384-well plates and 5 395 µl for 96-well plates, the Multidrop 384 offers superior flexibility for a wide range of applications. All reagent lines can be backflushed to the reagent bottle, minimizing the loss of expensive reagents. From 1 to 24 columns can be selected for 384-well plates and from 1 to 12 columns for 96-well plates. To ensure sterility and avoid cross contamination, the dispensing cassette is detachable and autoclavable. The Multidrop 384 can be used as a standalone instrument or added to robotic systems via an RS-232 serial port.
